This movie wasn't really what I expected, but it was still good. It wasn't the summer romance that I thought I was going to be watching. It was so much better. It involves two collage classmates falling in love. It's all seriousness, no humor. Well, there is the dud of the story, but you know, you have to have one. It does have alot of adult content so for this movie I definately say fifteen and up, but otherwise it was good. I thought it would be all chick-flicky, which isn't bad and all-I like some chick-flicks seeing that I'm a chick, but it wasn't. I give this movie four and a half stars, and I would not mind seeing this movie again.

Dear John is a good movie, a classic romance with a little bit of a twist. It's about a soilder that meets a girl and they fall in love in the two week period that he stays at home before being deployed again. It has a sad twist and it might make you cry. This isn't a very good children movie, because it contains some inappropriate adult content. I do beleieve that it's a very good movie for a young couple or for anybody to see. I give it four stars because some of the parts were boring but all in all it was good. It would probably appeal most to couples or anyone feeling in a romantic mode.
